The AcaBelles are Florida State University's premier soprano-alto a cappella group, established in 2000. The 'Belles have been the reigning South Champion of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) both in 2009 and 2011. In our 2011/2012 season, we earned 2nd place and Best Choreography at SoJam, 2nd place and Outstanding Choreography at ICCA south quarterfinals, and 2nd place, Outstanding Choreography, Outstanding Soloist, and Outstanding arrangement at ICCA semifinals. We also released our album Seamless, which earned 4 CARA nominations and a CARA award for Best Female Collegiate Arrangement.

In past years, we've earned international recognition for our cover of Lorde's "Royals," and were featured on Good Morning America, CNN, HLN, Buzzfeed, MSN, Elle Magazine, and more. The video has over 9 million views and has even been shared by Lorde herself. With our YouTube success, we were able to raise over $11,000 on Kickstarter to fund our third album, Rebel, which was released in 2014. In 2015, we released our fourth album, Dimensions. We released our fifth studio album, Wavelength, on April 20, 2019, as well as a music video by Lauren Amanda Films for our arrangement of "I Did Something Bad" by Taylor Swift.

Since then, we've been working hard and having a blast continuously competing in and attending a cappella events. We had a 'Belles reunion and recreated our viral Royals video, releasing it as a single as well! Most recently, we released an EP titled Phases in 2021, which is out and available on all streaming platforms. Phases received the award of runner up for Best Upper Voices Collegiate Album at the 2022 CARA Awards, and our arrangement of "Bellyache" by Billie Eilish was featured on Voices Only 2022. We are now looking forward to our performance at SoJam this November!
